Hundreds of guests have reviewed our two homes, and we have never received a review below four stars. Every one was written by someone who actually completed a stay with us, and every one of them appears below — we show all of them, unfiltered, because a page with nothing but perfect scores tells you less than an honest one. "Exactly as described"
The phrase turns up constantly, and it's the one we're proudest of. Nobody arrives to find the photos were flattering or the listing left something out.
We had a wonderful stay! The place was just as described and we would definitely stay again! Didn't want to leave!
Hosts you can actually reach
We're not a management company, and guests notice the difference.
This condo was PERFECT! And the hosts were so sweet and more helpful than any other host I've encountered! They called me to give me so many personal recommendations for things that my son and I would enjoy!
Genuinely on the beach
Both homes are Gulf front. Not "beach access," not "a short walk" — you step out and you're on the sand.
Awesome experience with family. Nice location and exactly per description. Just on the beach.
You don't need to pack the beach gear
Especially appreciated by guests flying in, who can't bring chairs and toys with them.
Plenty of kitchen ware, towels, blankets, beach toys, chairs — all kinds of good stuff for people who may be flying in and can't bring a bunch of gear.
About our four-star reviews
A handful of guests have given us four stars instead of five, and we've left every one of them right where it is. Read them — they're the most useful reviews on this page. Most are ordinary happy stays from people who simply reserve five stars for perfection. A few name something specific, and those are the ones worth your time before you book.

There was an issue with the AC after we arrived but Paul handled it immediately and it didn't affect our stay one bit. The place was just Great and we enjoyed our stay!
Four stars, and we'll take it happily. Things occasionally break in a beach condo in September. What you actually want to know before you hand over a deposit is what happens next — and that's the one thing a wall of five-star reviews can never show you.
If anything in a review gives you pause, call us and ask about it. We'd far rather answer the question before you book than have it surprise you after.

Where these reviews come from
Every review on this page was left by a guest who completed a stay in one of our homes — no invented names, no incentives, nobody who never showed up. They come from our own booking system and from our Airbnb and Vrbo listings, and they flow onto this page automatically, whether or not they flatter us. We can't delete the ones we'd rather you didn't see, and we wouldn't want to.

Are these the same reviews as on Airbnb and Vrbo?
Largely, yes — same homes, same hosts, and this page pulls from those platforms as well as from our own bookings. Our Airbnb Superhost and Vrbo Premier Host status come from this same body of guest feedback.
Why do you reply to reviews?
Because the reply is often more useful than the review. If a guest hit a problem, you deserve to see what we did about it — and if we got something wrong, we'd rather say so here than pretend it didn't happen. Our older replies are a little more formal than we'd write them today; the intent behind all of them is the same.
